Frequently Asked Questions

Who do you accept as clients?

Zenergy Wellness is a women-centered practice and is currently accepting new women clients only. Existing male clients may continue to book. All new-client appointments are reviewed prior to confirmation.

What should I expect at my first appointment?

Your first appointment begins with a review of your intake form and may include a more thorough in-person intake. Your therapist may ask additional questions about your lifestyle, daily habits, work, movement patterns, and other factors that could be contributing to the areas of tension or discomfort you’re experiencing.

When appropriate, your first visit may also include a postural analysis to look for patterns that could be influencing how your body is feeling.

The goal is to better understand what may be contributing to your pain or tension so your session can be more intentional. Your therapist will address what is appropriate within the scope of massage therapy and may also offer practical suggestions to help you support your body between sessions.

How do I book an appointment?

All appointments must be booked through the online booking system at least 24 hours in advance. This helps keep scheduling organized, ensures required forms and policies are completed before your visit, and provides an accurate record of your appointment details.

If you are a new client, your first appointment is submitted as a booking request and must be reviewed before it is confirmed. You will receive an email once your request has been approved. Until that approval is received, your appointment is not considered confirmed.

If you are an existing client, appointments booked through the online system are confirmed at the time of booking and do not require additional approval.

Submitting a first-time booking request does not guarantee acceptance. Zenergy Wellness may decline or cancel appointment requests when appropriate for scheduling, safety, professional-boundary, scope-of-practice, or policy-related reasons, consistent with applicable law.

Appointments cannot be booked by phone or text. If you have a question before booking, you’re welcome to text 770-367-2505. Texting is preferred, as your therapist may be in session and unable to answer the phone.

How early should I arrive?

For your first appointment, please arrive about 10–15 minutes early. This gives us enough time to review your intake, discuss any additional questions, complete any assessment that may be appropriate, and allow time for a restroom break or anything else you may need before your session begins.

For returning appointments, arriving about 5 minutes early is usually plenty of time to use the restroom, get settled, and be ready to begin your session on time.

What is your cancellation, rescheduling, and no-show policy?

Appointments canceled or rescheduled with more than 24 hours’ notice will not be charged.

Appointments canceled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time will be charged 100% of the session fee.

Zenergy Wellness allows a 15-minute grace period for late arrivals. If you have not arrived within 15 minutes of your scheduled appointment time, your appointment will be considered a no-show and you will be charged 100% of the session fee.

Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. Late cancellations, last-minute changes, and no-shows often leave too little time to offer that appointment to another client, resulting in lost booking time for the practice.

This cancellation, rescheduling, and no-show policy is included in the booking terms you are required to review and acknowledge when scheduling your appointment. By booking, you agree to these terms.

Do I have to undress completely?

No. You should only undress to your personal comfort level.

All clients receiving table massage at Zenergy Wellness will be professionally draped throughout the session. Draping is not optional.

Only the area being worked on will be uncovered, and all other areas will remain appropriately covered. You will also be given privacy to get on and off the table before and after your session.

You are never required to completely undress. Undress only to the level that feels comfortable for you, and let your therapist know if there are any areas you would prefer not to have worked on.

Do I need to know what type of massage I want before booking?

Not at all. You don’t need to know which techniques your body needs before you book.

Zenergy Wellness uses a personalized approach, so your therapist will talk with you about your goals, areas of tension or discomfort, pressure preferences, and what you’re hoping to get from the session. Different techniques may be incorporated based on what is appropriate for you that day.

You just need to tell your therapist what’s going on. Figuring out how to approach it is part of the session.

What if I’m sick?

If you are experiencing a fever, contagious illness, stomach virus, flu-like symptoms, or otherwise feel actively unwell, please reschedule your appointment.

Massage is not appropriate when you are contagious or acutely ill, and coming in sick can also put your therapist and other clients at risk.

If you are unsure whether you should keep your appointment, please text 770-367-2505 before coming in.

Do you accept insurance?

Zenergy Wellness does not accept or bill health insurance for massage therapy services.

All services are self-pay, and payment is due according to the booking and payment policies in place at the time of your appointment.

What if I have allergies or sensitive skin?

Please list any known allergies, sensitivities, skin conditions, or ingredient concerns on your intake form before your appointment.

This is especially important if you have sensitivities or allergies to ingredients that may be found in massage lotions, oils, or aromatherapy products, such as nuts or nut-derived oils, coconut, shea, fragrances, essential oils, botanicals, latex, adhesives, or topical skincare ingredients.

Your therapist will review this information and tailor the products used during your session whenever possible. Certain lotions, oils, aromatherapy products, heat applications, or enhancements may be modified or avoided based on your needs.

If you have a severe allergy or a history of serious skin reactions, please provide as much detail as possible before your appointment.
